Privacy Policy
Last updated July 3, 2026
This policy explains what Wavemark collects, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.
What we collect
Account details (your email and artist name), the releases you create (audio, artwork, titles, and codes like ISRC and UPC), subscription and payment records (amount, plan, and the last four digits of your card — never the full number), and basic usage needed to operate the app.
How we use it
To run your account, scan uploads for copyright, deliver approved releases to stores, show your analytics and earnings, process subscriptions and payouts, and send you notifications about your releases.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us operate: our hosting and database provider, our payment processor, and the copyright-identification service that scans uploaded audio. We don't sell your personal data. We share what's needed to deliver releases to the stores you choose.
Storage and security
Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider under access controls that limit each account to its own records. Audio files are kept private and served through expiring, signed links. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Your choices
You can view and update your profile in Settings, cancel your subscription in Billing, and request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your releases and personal data, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy; we'll change the date above and flag material changes in the app. For any privacy request, email privacy@wavemark.app.
